Celebrate ~ Blogging Through July Day 4

It's Independence Day! Today though, the word CELEBRATE has continuously made me recall the song Celebrate Jesus. Click the link if you want to step back into the eighties with me and listen. Join my friend Lynn and me, and link your own celebration below.

Are you celebrating today? I'm so happy to be spending an extended weekend with my family. My husband is planning to grill chicken, the girls will make deviled eggs since our chickens are still laying, and fireworks are planned for the evening. I've seen the first world/third world comparisons. I'm thankful for those who fought for freedoms in our country. I'm thankful for our celebrations today and even more so for freedom in Christ Jesus.

Are you cooking anything delicious? Those lemon blueberry bars were a hit when we first made them Wednesday. They disappeared fast. For today, I'm planning to use a red velvet cake mix to make red white and blueberry bars.
