The Virtual Refrigerator ~ A Happy Gecko and a Free Ebook

Welcome to another week of the Virtual Refrigerator. Our weekly blog hop is co-hosted by Angels of Heart, Every Bed of Roses, Homeschool Coffee Break, and a Glimpse of our Life. Link up your art tutorials or projects that your children have been working on. Then pin the same to our virtual fridge by joining our group pinterest board, just ask any of us to add you.

This week I have a fun tutorial and ebook to share with you. Kathy from WeDrawAnimals.com offered to make a special tutorial for my son.

Her website features animal drawing tutorials for kids and interesting
facts about the animals. It has 500 animals - some common, some pretty
exotic.

I shared Kathy's offer with my son. "What animal would you like to draw?"
"A gecko" was his first reply, then he quickly amended his decision "a happy gecko." She created these simple, cute and kid-friendly instructions for just what he asked for.

how to draw a gecko

Joseph's own Happy Gecko!

Kathy also graciously shared her eBook with 100 high-resolution tutorials which is © WeDrawAnimals.com. You can download the ebook from here (it is about 40MB): http://www.wedrawanimals.com/ebook100.pdf

I spotted tutorials for a few Louisiana animals in her eBook including alligator, black bear, and catfish.
