Welcome to another week of the Virtual Refrigerator. Our weekly blog hop is co-hosted by Angels of Heart, Every Bed of Roses, Homeschool Coffee Break, and a Glimpse of our Life. Link up your art tutorials or projects that your children have been working on. Then pin the same to our virtual fridge by joining our group pinterest board, just ask any of us to add you.
We turned in our completed Wee-care gowns, bonnets, and blankets this week. This gown was stitched with love by my 15 year old. I am very thankful that both of my girls helped me complete my set as well as their own. The outfits are donated to local hospitals through SAGA.
Join us at the blogs of any of the four bloggers who are hosting the Virtual Refrigerator. Link up, visit others who join us, try something new, then come back and share that, too.

What a beautiful gown! Can you tell me more about this donation program? Sewing is on my list of things to master.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tess. SAGA (smocking arts guild of America) has local chapters all over. My girls and I join my aunt and learn a new technique each month. Their outreach program is the preemie outfits which are most often used as burial gowns for tiny babies that don't survive. It is a sad gift when you think that through. My aunt encouraged us to follow her example and pray for the baby and family as we make each item. http://www.smocking.org/weecare_program.php
