The first chapter of The Plans We Made by Kathryn Cushman and Lauren Beccue was shared with me with the review opportunity. I read it and wanted to keep reading. After my signed copy arrived, I read the book in less than three days. The characters had already become real. It pulled me in. This book is relatable as you read the emotions of the characters. We all have made plans that were far different from our reality. And who hasn't put away things from our past that we want to leave behind? Things aren't always what they seem, and picture perfect lives usually aren't. These authors together show how forgiveness leads to healing and God works in our lives in circumstances far different from the life we imagined.
I never want to share spoilers in my reviews. If you read it and want to discuss it, message me on Instagram at @mommiejennm
