Chicken Magic

Homemade chicken broth is a staple food in our kitchen. The secrets... save onion skins carrot tops and other assorted veggie treasures in a bag in the freezer, make it in an instant pot, and stir in a little chicken magic.

I’m not sure how the name started, but that’s what is written on the lid of the mason jar, and that’s what we call it. It’s never the same. Each time I mix up a new batch I just use whatever we have in the pantry at that time. I don’t measure. At this point I don’t add salt. 

Combine in a quart jar:
Poultry seasoning 
Assorted peppers
Onion powder
Garlic powder
