My daughter came in our room because she heard the crash, and then she went outside with my husband to investigate. This huge tree limb fell and pulled more down with it. It missed our house, even missed the treehouse, but because it landed on the zip line it had to be moved. So at midnight, illuminated by the beam of a flashlight, my husband cut it the rest of the way down. Later my daughter shared with me, somewhat surprised, “it wasn’t dead, mamma, it was covered with leaves.

ReplyDeleteGlad it didn't do more damage! That verse was my son's choice for his graduation verse. At the time I thought it a strange choice, but I think it reflected his choice to be God's man.
