Scripture and a Snapshot

 However, as it is written:
What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived
the things God has prepared for those who love Him.
I Corinthians 2:9

To say we are rather isolated where we live is almost an understatement. We live deep in the forest far from traffic and big cites, and far from many friends. A friend visited last week with kids very close in age to my own, a friendship our whole family treasures. She had shared before of their thoughts about moving. We learned during their visit, instead of over an hour separating us, just how close the house they are considering is to us. I never even knew that lovely house was there, and it's been there more than three times as long as I've lived. The majestic oak in front of it could be as old as some of the ones on our own farm. But there is more! Mutual friends who also homeschool live on that same road, just a few short miles from our house. I knew the name of their road but had never seen it before. Blessings discovered! How beautiful to know God has so many blessings for us, both now and forever!

  1. This is such a favorite verse of mine. It always makes me realize that God has bigger dreams or plans for me than I can even imagine. Have a blessed Sunday!

  2. oh how lovely to find out you have neighbors and friends close by. It's hard to raise children when you feel isolated. I'm glad God provided for you.
