Scripture and a Snapshot

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.  Ephesians 4:11-16

This has been a whirlwind weekend.  We celebrated my son's birthday, another graduation, Youth Sunday at church, and now are finalizing details for my daughter's graduation. While the girls practiced singing at church, I noticed how lovely the sunlight was filtering through the stained glass windows. I chose these verses because it is such a time of growth for all of my children. My son is now as tall as his sister who is almost five years older than him! I pray for each of my children, that their growth continues to reflect these verses.

Scripture and Snapshot

  1. Such beauty in stained glass windows! I miss having pews in our church and this just warmed my heart.

  2. I love the verses which state we must grow in love and work together. If only all Christians would take this to heart.

  3. What a beautiful photo! I love the verse you used to go with it.

  4. Such a wonderful verse to pray over for the children! 💙 I hope your daughter has a lovely graduation day, congratulations!
    Blessings to your week,

  5. Looks like a very fun and productive week for you. Enjoy another week ahead.
