Scripture & A Snapshot

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (KJV)

Last week my snapshot was my view out my sister's hospital window. I am thankful for friends praying for her and thankful to God that she is getting stronger. This Friday, we joined friends and went skating. It was the first time for my son and the first time in many years for the rest of us. Friends were encouraging, one of my oldest daughter's friends stuck with her over an hour helping her gain confidence and even falling down with her.  (I purposefully picked a blurry picture as other kids are in it, too.)
This is also my oldest daughter, years ago, also holding on to a friend.

  1. Love the matching of the photo & Scripture. Truly perfect! Perhaps it struck me as I loved roller skating as a kid. May we be there for someone today who may need a hand getting up! Have a blessed Sunday!

    1. You too. I hope I am the one pulling friends up instead of down.

  3. I smiled when I saw your photo....I think Friday was an undeclared national day of rollerskating for homeschoolers. We went with our homeschool group and there were four other homeschool groups at the rink.
