Little Passports ~ Brazil

The following is a sponsored post by Little Passports World Edition for 5-10 year olds  and contains affiliate links.

My son was even more excited about his second shipment from Little Passports. As we have been studying about different countries and cultures all year, this "lesson" (don't tell him I called it that!) about Brazil fit in perfectly with our plans. In case you missed my first review, that suitcase is perfect for keeping all of his Little Passports adventure collection together (instead of scattered throughout the house.) That is still my favorite feature, but I like so much about this resource. Each shipment comes addressed to him, and he loves receiving packages. (What kid doesn't?)

One of the special items in this month's package was the amethyst which is found in Brazil. He added the Brazilian flag to his passport and began exploring the country with Sam and Sofia. He received a new boarding pass with unique access codes to online games specifically about Brazil. He enjoyed playing the quiz games and puzzles.

He also added stickers to his suitcase just like a world traveler. The vacation picture (actual 4x6 pictures are included in each shipment) added to his collection this time was of  an endangered red uakari monkey. Joseph learned a bit about what uakari monkeys eat and their habitat.

pinning his "visit" on his world map

  1. Thanks for giving more of a visual for this. I had my doubts about it, but I think we might give it go for next school year.

  3. Seems nifty! Wonder if my son would like this, but then again, if it's not a car or something related it's not worth looking at but!! It's good to introduce them to new things if you can I guess :P

  9. These passports in a box are so cute! And they provide so much learning too! I love it! My Brother lived in Brazil for a while, so it would be fun to show my kids where their Uncle lived.

  13. We tried this out a few years ago and loved it. I think my kids' favorite was the Italy and when we were doing them I would actually make meals from that country. I miss homeschooling now. :( The suitcase was my favorite feature too. Glad to see he is liking it, I laughed at your "lesson~ don't tell him I called it that". (http://homemom3.com)

  17. I just saw that and it looked like it would be fun. We are doing Which Way USA right now with Highlights but this might be a good one for when we are done.
