Introducing Our New Business ~ Lilla Rose ~ Pretty Hair

New year ~ new business!

We actually signed up with Lilla Rose last fall but are jumping in now with a big kick off.

This is a joint business venture with my daughters, who signed up as a fun money making opportunity. My thoughts were a bit different than theirs. I'm hoping it turns into a useful hands on economics course. I've been involved in quite a few home businesses, and this is by far one of the simplest and most affordable to get into. There are no minimums as a consultant. Once you sign up, you are in. The company  immediately provides your business website. Your profit is determined by your activity. The girls each contributed half of the initial start up cost ($25. each.) They are also splitting the profits and already making decisions about how much they should put back into their business expenses, such as inventory on hand.

We are kicking off our grand opening with a virtual party. For the month of January, all orders placed with a party have free shipping! Lilla Rose currently ships within the USA as well as to Canada and Mexico.

This party closes Jan 22nd and all party orders will be shipped at that time. (As opposed to individual orders placed directly from the website which are shipped when the order is completed.)

Heather shared "I am having fun with our Lilla Rose business! We are learning so many things by having this business. We just learned about keeping track of our inventory. I am also having fun trying new styles with my flexi clips. I like wearing my hair all up in a twist, but I also like wearing it in a quick ponytail. I like picking out what flexi to wear and how to do my hair with it. Lilla Rose even makes other hair accessories like headbands. All of the lilla rose clips that I have tried are very comfortable! Usually I get a headache when I wear my hair up, but not with the lilla rose flexi clips!  I like the way that the bobby pins are made, where one is turned one way and the other is turned the other way, so that if you stick one bobby pin in one side and one in from the other side, one isn't upside down.  I also like the flexi style: Princess Tiara Freestyle, pictured here."
Emily shared "I have had fun with this new business. I have enjoyed showing these clips to other people and watching their reaction when they try them. My favorite hairstyle is to bring my hair up into a French twist then put the flexi-clip in it. One of my favorite designs is the divinely framed jewel."

Let me know if you are interested in learning more about the consultant or hostess opportunity or have any questions about the products.

  1. These are so pretty...I wish my dd wore things in her hair. I made hair accessories for a bit when she was smaller and I could barely get her to wear them then. :/ I hope you do well and it is so nice that your daughters are working on this together!! Good luck to them!

  2. Thanks! The flexi-clips are pretty for Moms, too.

  3. Jennifer is right~ they are excellent for moms as well! We've been wearing flexi-clips since before there was a Lilla-Rose. I considered signing up, but didn't want to have to buy the basic kit, since we already own at least one in most of the sizes.

    I *don't* have an o-ring though~ those look pretty cool, too! :)

Blessings on your new venture, Jennifer, and daughters! :D

  4. purple squirrel, If you change your mind and want to sign up you can sell the ones that come with the basic kit. My big sis got an O-ring for Christmas and it does make a pretty pony tail.

  5. This will be such a wonderful learning experience for your girls! The clips are so pretty! Do they hold really fine hair? Clips of any kind normally slip right out of my hair, as well as my daughters.

  6. Joy, they do hold very well. They have 7 sizes to secure any amount of hair from mini through mega.

There is a sizing video on the website, or you can decide what size you and your daughters would need using these tips:

Put your hand around your full ponytail and squeeze down...If the amount you're holding resembles a nickel, you're an extra small. A quarter, you're a small. A 50 cent piece, you're a medium, and anything bigger and you'll need large or xl.
This would be for a ponytail or tails-up. A half-up would be a smaller size, and a french twist would be larger.

  7. beautiful!! Good for your girls! good for you! I am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can!
