When Mitch and I were newlyweds, he came home from work one day with a box of abandoned kittens. That was my first experience with anything other than dogs as a pet. While searching for kitten formula, a pharmacist at the local K&B (does that store even exist any more?) named Dianne shared this recipe with me. We fed those kittens with a dropper at first.
Kitten Milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup water
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon white corn syrup
Mix. For older kittens, you can use it to moisten their kitten chow.
Today I made up a batch of this for Snow White. I'm pretty sure that she enjoyed it.
