I am thankful for water. While washing dishes today, I thought about how I just rinsed a bowl and let the water run down the drain. We have a well, so we don't even get a water bill now. It is almost inconceivable to imagine that in this world today there are many places where running water would be considered a luxury. Yet it is true. More than one church I know of raises money for wells in Africa. Have you heard of this: http://www.bloodwatermission.com/?

Water is very precious, but we do take it for granted. Guess, because we have never done without.

It is amazing how the things we have at our fingertips are more precious than gold in other places.
