Scripture and A Snapshot

Set your minds on things above, not things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

My mom and I used to stare at the shapes in the clouds and make stories about the things we imagined as she drove me home from school. This weekend, I've been challenged to look up. Some things we deal with are so temporary, both tangible things as well as circumstances. Eternity is so much more important; refocusing has helped me to remember that.

  1. I did that sometimes with the grandson when we were out on the lake in the boat. We would lie there and look at the shapes the clouds make. Sometimes he would see the shape, sometimes not. I still love looking up at the beautiful skies and just saying thanks.

  2. Many times I look up, longing for the day when our Savior will split the clouds and make the wrong things in our sin-sick world right.
