The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7
Tragedy is most often unexpected. Friends are grieving today the heartbreaking loss of a child. My heart is broken for them. Please pray with me to our God of all comfort that He will envelop their family in peace.

Jennifer, we will be praying for your friends. My husband has also suffered the sudden loss of a child (his youngest son, my stepson). It's devastating, yet the Lord provided great comfort and great strength. Thank you for requesting prayer for your friends, as that is the most important thing they need right now and in the hard days ahead.

ReplyDeleteSo sad for your friends-- holding them strongly in prayer this morning. My scripture verse this week is about God rising us up in the right time....also paralleling with Isaiah 41. I wrote about it over at www.nicolebeholds.com. Would love to share for some encouragement. Have peace. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the heartbreak for your friends and will definitely send up prayers for his loving arms to wrap these people in the coming days, months, and years of their grief.
