Isaiah 1:18"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
Welcome to Scripture & A Snapshot. Snow in south Louisiana is such a novelty. I've been enjoying taking pictures of the rare treat. There were quite a few verses about snow, some comparing white clothing to it, others about snow white hair. My favorite, though, is this verse from Isaiah that sums up how much Jesus can change our lives. Please continue to visit some of the other links. Leave a comment with a verse that God has placed on your heart this week, or leave a link to your own post sharing a Scripture and a snapshot. Thank you for joining me.
I love this Scripture! Just think of how the Lord wants to relieve us of our guilt and sin. What a beautiful example He uses in the snow.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo, Jennifer.

You are right, such a stark contrast to how it looks without it.
DeleteLoved your Louisiana snow pictures! And yes, there's something very clean about fresh snow - no wonder God uses that picture to describe his forgiveness.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kym. It all melted, but now more is in the forecast for tomorrow!
