Our summer days are full. This morning we picked over 2 gallons more blueberries then squash and tomatoes from our garden. The kids jumped into the pool while I visited with my mom on the porch swing. By the time she left I had cooled off so I didn't join them in the cold water.
A friend also shared tomatoes, and last night we put up 14 pints of stewed tomatoes. Tonight we had homemade spaghetti sauce with some of them. Yummy! The girls and I ate outside under the arbor. The wisteria is still not blooming, but it has made a lovely shady enclosure as the leaves and vines are completely covering the top now.
I wish We had a garden..Its on my to do list for next year
