4H Project Preparation with Elmer's Painters Paint Markers

This will be the first time for my daughters to participate in a 4H presentation project. Emily decided to share a PowerPoint (which we are still learning) and Heather is going to give a poster presentation. One of the recommendations given to her was to make the words on the posters visible to the judges across the room. With Elmer's Painters Paint Markers, she is working on making her posters pop.

We purchased the Elmer's Painters at Walmart. We had a set of metallic Painters at home already which we used on glass ornaments to decorate precious hand-print snowmen. This time the girls picked the neon color package as well as individual black and brown Painters. Heather thought the black would stand out on the orange poster board, and brown was necessary as her talk is about the history of violins, which are typically brown.

We actually had to search the store to find Elmer's Painters, but in the search we found other Elmer's products throughout the store. We found the Painters Paint Markers in the craft section near other craft paints.

With the single Painters there is expanded selection of colors and tip sizes. Our Walmart had these in medium and fine tips (we got all medium) however online there are also chisel and calligraphy tip Painters as well.

Our store in McComb, MS had a large selection of colors to choose from. Single Painters are coming to Walmart near you and they are a great new everyday low price of $1.97!

The paint flows easily. Elmer's Painters contain real acrylic paint and are opaque when dry. They worked perfectly on these posters and can also be used on wood, pottery, glass, metal, paper, plastic, fabric, and ceramics.

The metallic tone Painters were perfect for illustrating the metal strings.

Here she is demonstrating the differences in parts of a violin now compared to historically.

For this map, she cut out a printed map, glued it securely with Elmer's SchoolGlue glue stick, then outlined the edges with a medium tip neon blue Painters Paint Pen.

Here is the cover poster for my daughter's 4H presentation!

Elmer's Painters are Non Toxic and Acid Free (important for scrapbooking.) My daughter also shared that the paint washes off of skin easily.

Find Elmer's on Twitter and Facebook.

    1. We are in 4-H too...as a mom I love all of the public speaking opportunities that 4-H has. It has definitely filled some of those holes you can sometimes with homeschooling.

And her title board looks great!

    2. Thanks, Charlotte. Next year the girls will take a speech class. But this year everything about this including the public speaking aspect is all new. Both girls picked topics they enjoy, so they are having fun working on their presentations.
