Springtime Fruit and Veggie Treats with #EqualSucralose

For this springtime treat, I pulled a little bit of fresh from the garden goodness out of our freezer to make a fruit crisp. Each bag of frozen fruit contained about 16-20 ounces. I cook most of our family favorites without recipes, so I'll just share how I put this together. First pour frozen blueberries and 1 cup (any kind) of juice in pot on stovetop. Heat until berries are thawed. Stir in 1/2 C. Equal Sucralose. I thawed the bag of frozen peaches in the microwave, then poured fruit into casserole pan. Different kids enjoy different fruits so I left the peaches and blueberries seperate on each end, combining in the middle. The blueberry end was a bit more juicy, so I added some peach nectar over the peaches (about 10 ounces.) for the topping, I sprinkled 1 cup of oatmeal over the top, then 1/3 c. whole wheat flour and 4T Equal Sucralose.
Sprinkle 1/3 c. oatmeal again over that, then 1/2 stick of butter cut into small pieces dotted over the top. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. This is wonderful served hot with vanilla ice cream.
Another family favorite recipe is corn casserole. I made this for Sunday dinner substituting the sugar in the original recipe with Equal Sucralose. For this, first melt 3-4T. butter in casserole dish. Drain one can of whole corn and pour into dish with two cans of  creamed corn. Add 3 beaten eggs, 2 T. flour, and 3 T. Equal Sucralose (see how easy it is to measure right out of the canister.) Bake at 350 for one hour.
This tastes like freshly shucked sweet corn.

I shared several canisters of Equal Sucralose with my Mom, and she shared these delicious carrot-apple muffins that she created using it!

What better way to wrap up this fresh from the garden sweet post but to share more sweetness at Garden Club. My Mom and I join a beautiful group of ladies monthly for a shared dinner and gardening lesson. There are always sugar free drinks and treats, so I knew many ladies there would appreciate the gift of Equal Sucralose. Our little community is nestled deep in the woods between two cities with Walmart stores that carry Equal Sucralose on their shelves- Denham Springs, La and McComb, Ms. These ladies can find more canisters at those stores as well as others listed here.

This is a compensated blog post as part of a social shopper insights study for #CBias and #EqualSucralose completed at the Baton Rouge Walmart #3288 for this #CBias shop. You can also see my related Google+ story here. Thanks #CBias and #EqualSucralose!
