Homeschool Crew Review: See N Read/ See N Spell

"Look it up in the dictionary." Who has not either heard that or said it regarding spelling a word? The See-N-Spell Spelling and Vocabulary Quick Reference Guide is a tool designed to make looking up spelling words a bit easier.

The layout is straightforward without unnecessary extra fluff. I was able to hand the 40 page softcover  book to my daughter who could easily use it after a brief explanation. At the bottom of each letter's section is a list of homophones and their definitions. The guide is set up alphabetically and the index in the front of the book includes listings for each letter as well as the sections of commonly misspelled words and special interest words (where students can list their own words.)

Emily used the See-N-Read tool to look through the words in the See-N-Spell Spelling and Vocabulary Quick Reference Guide. She said it is easier than using the dictionary to look up words.
