My Aunt invited us yesterday to join them (aunt, uncle, cousin, and her family) today for a trip to the creek. We sprayed on the sunscreen and packed up a picnic lunch then enjoyed a few hours at a nearby national park.
The boys caught bugs and fish, built with branches, and pretended to be creek monsters.
I relaxed and stared at the clouds.
I wonder if the kids will remember my Uncle's chair breaking the way I remember a Great Aunt's bed that broke during one of my childhood vacations.
The girls enjoyed swimming in the creek, too.

first, staring at the clouds – awesome. Second, yes, they will remember that broken chair. It all sounds like family love. It made me smile – I always smile when I'm here. Thank you. And God bless and keep you and each and every one of yours.
