The following is a review and giveaway sponsored by Propellor Consulting.
Matthew West wrote his new album All In with the goal of encouraging himself and others to get up off the sidelines of their faith and really live it out – to go all in in your time with God, all in with your family, all in with your community, and all in battling your fears that may hold you back from becoming who God made you to be. Along that same theme, Matthew will be launching a 6-week All in Challenge on his social media starting 9/18, and each week Matthew will be challenging his fans to go all in in a different part of their lives. What does it look like when a heart that knows Jesus takes a step and holds nothing back? How can we go All In in the places that mean the most?
We have a new family favorite CD. All In by Matthew West is filled with songs that tell stories. Stories of his faith in Jesus, his love for his wife, and even one featuring his daughter:
- All In
- Broken Things
- Mercy Is A Song
- Amen
- The Sound Of A Life Changing
- Something Greater
- Jesus & You
- The Beautiful We Miss
- 1 Song
- Power Love Sound Mind
- Never Ever Give Up
- Dream Again
- Becoming Me
- You Are Known
All In, represented by his edge of the pool picture, is about complete surrender. "With reckless abandon my heart in your hands, I surrender it all. I'm going all in."
Broken Things is beautiful. My son said it is much different from the radio version. "If it's true You use broken things, then here I am Lord, I'm all yours."
Amen is a favorite of both of my girls. "It's only by God's grace we're standing here today." Many of the songs are fast, but this one has an especially catchy beat.
I could share about every song; we are singing along to all of them now. "Hallelujah sing along."

My favorite is Broken Things!
ReplyDeleteI really like Broken Things, and I haven't heard it, but I like the sound of Amen.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope that you enjoy this CD as much as we are.
Delete"The Sound of a Life Changing" is an intriguing title and "Amen" sounds like it has some really good lines. Most of Matthew West's songs do have good lines, though. We absolutely enjoy his albums. - Lori
