Scripture and A Snapshot

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:15-16

Who else is memorizing these verses for VBS this summer? The girls have been preparing for their different leadership roles at our church, and our house has been filled with music and cut out stars and planets. The first time I heard this verse shared was by Louie Giglio. He stressed how God's image is indeed in everything, at times invisible to us. Then he shared pictures of tiny things inside our cells in our bodies as well as amazing pictures of the Milky Way, both showing so clearly the image of the cross. How amazing it will be one day in heaven when hidden truths are revealed!
