Scripture and a Snapshot

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. I Peter 1: 3-6

This has been a whirlwind week. For those of you following my fledgling garden story, we started over yet again. My sweet son gently dug up the plants in it, then my dear husband retilled the whole thing. I replanted the living ones and added more squash and eggplant plants, and so far it looks much improved. We spent the last few days at our local homeschool conference where a friend shared with us about her recommended source for cut flowers. The ones pictured are part of our practice for Heather's senior recital. We also ordered her diploma this week. It's almost graduation time!
