This looks like an interesting book, even for me - I rarely read historical fiction in a 20th century setting! I guess I'd have to say The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe is my favorite from a WWII setting. LOL
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great book. I love historical fiction, especially set in this era. My favorite World War II book has been Unbroken!
ReplyDeleteI ADORE Susan Meissner's books! As a matter of fact, I just reread "The Girl in the Glass."
ReplyDeleteFave WWII book? Probably "The Book Thief." Still tugs at my heartstrings.
I used to teach Elie Wiesel's Night; such a sober reminder of the atrocities of World War II.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I think it was a series called "Children of the Promise"? I read it years ago!!
ReplyDeleteI love "Sarah's Key" by Tatiana de Rosnay and I like "The Diary of Anne Frank." I hope to read "The Hiding Place" next. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo many books to choose from. I guess my favorite so far is Unbroken, but I've read plenty of other good ones like The Hiding Place.
ReplyDeleteSo I actually am not into these books but my mother in law is and I have NO CLUE what her favorite is :)
ReplyDeleteThe only WWII era books that I've read are my daughters' "Dear America" & "Molly"(American Girl) books. Those were good :)
ReplyDeleteI think that "Night" is my favorite WWII book....it's a classic.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is The Diary of Anne Frank!
