"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock." Isaiah 26:3-4

Sweet photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks! She was so happy swinging with her eyes on her mom.
DeleteLove this photo! Depicts childlike trust perfectly. :-)
ReplyDeleteKym, it was precious to see her face light up. She was happy and yes, completely trusting in her mom.
DeleteSuch fun we've all had on that swing! Good times, good memories at your farm!
ReplyDeleteCome again soon!
DeleteLove the carefree smile and eager trust that she will both be safe and have fun! Oh, to be like a child on a swing. Makes me think of this poem.
ReplyDeleteHow do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!
Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--
Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown--
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!
I'd love to link up my pinterest board to my blog with you. http://www.pinterest.com/cr8td2praise/journeys-in-grace-and-grace-filled-living/ I started following you on Pinterest today. :)

Dawn
Hi Jennifer, I found you through "Just following Jesus in my real life..." I've linked a few of my own "scriptures and snapshot". I have a series of "Scenes from the Country" in which I do just that. I would like to invite you to stop by and visit me as well. I'm now following your pinterest board and look forward to sharing God's Word together in the future.
