Scripture & A Snapshot

Toledo Bend sunset

One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock. ~ Psalm 27:4-5

    1. Soothing and peaceful is exactly how I feel standing on the pier there gazing across the water. Thanks for your sweet compliment.

  6. I'm definitely a "rock/Rock" oriented person. Those words and pictures that are planted in my head and heart through the Psalms just keeps me focusing the right direction. [I have LOTS of rocks in my house, my yard, my planters. Partly, b/c I love the colors and textures. Partly, b/c they remind me, instant by instant, of my Lord, my ROCK!]

    Thanks.
