  1. Oh would my oldest daughter love to own a piano like that. Maybe one day.

    1. We won that my first year on the crew from a link another crew member shared! My girls have almost outgrown that childsized grand piano but my son still fits it perfectly. We are looking now for a good deal on a full size keyboard.

  3. Stopped over from the First Day post: I love the picture looking out the window. It looks so peaceful and reminders me of how much I miss our cabin in Northern Minnesota. It is sad when we have to close it up for the winter. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks Katie, it is especially peaceful after the rain. We are enjoying the open windows. I'm smiling at the similarities of Southern Louisiana and Northern Minnesota, and wondering if our fall is like your summer there.

  4. Are you doing I Love America? Josies doing that in coop and just did that flag activity. Which I guess is just a flag so it may not have anything to do with that class!

    Thanks for linking up!

  6. Oh my goodness, I learned so much about you in this post...
    loved it.

I saw that flag-coloring picture and wanted to shout "We have that game!" I've been playing the USA game too much lately ;) Have you heard of it? and if that flag was where it came from--wow!

    1. Nikki, pictures do say so much. This is one of my favorite link ups, though I did find it hard not to add words the first month.

That flag picture must be reproduced a lot! Now I'm interested in your USA game.

    1. When I read, I write quotes that I like at the tops of the pages in a blank journal. It is the one I'm planning to use for NaNoWriMo writing, so maybe they will inspire me.

  8. Jennifer, each and every photo tells a story...and yes, 'life is a sum of all our choices'...seems to me you have chosen well! I can see the 'true meaning of life' in the smile of yours and your beautiful family:)
