thoughts of work and home

Do you work outside of  the home and homeschool your children? Lately I've realized that after a really good day of work or a horribly crummy day, either way I'd prefer being home with my kids. Contemplating changes...

  1. The hardest decision I ever made was quitting my career. I never in a million years thought I would have done it. But for me and my family it truly was the best thing I did. I do miss it some days but won't go back unless I had too. Praying for you to find your balance, it is so hard:)

  3. Praying for you! I don't know how I'd manage working and homeschooling, but I know those who do it successfully. I know it's possible.

  4. I quit teaching when my first child was a year and a half. I missed it at first, but now I have the joy of teaching my own little ones. I cherish these days when I can be with them and train them. I personally love staying home.

Praying you make the best decision for your family, whatever that may be.

  5. I have several part-time jobs that all add up to working about 1 day each week. But sometimes that time could be used better at home. I've just got to figure out which ones to cut out. Thanks for praying, this is a very hard decision.

  6. I did briefly for about four months and it was tough. I decided it just wasn't worth it.
