Scripture and a Snapshot

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

It snowed three times this winter, and we may still get more! It is so beautiful. The layer of white covered all the dead brown leaves and turned our farm into a winter wonderland. This verse describes a change even more drastic.

  1. The trees and the hush of silence when it snows are always beautiful to me. And I always think of the very same verse. Have a blessed Sunday!

  2. I'm glad you've been able to enjoy a smidgen of what we get to experience every day here in the Keweenaw. There is incredible beauty in snow-covered trees. Isn't it wonderful that God likens His forgiveness to snow? If we simply accept His free gift of salvation, he looks upon us as clean and pure again!

  4. What a beautiful vision! It reminds me of pictures from *Ideals*, which were usually accompanied by Bible verses or other literary excerpts. Beautiful!
