Scripture and a Snapshot

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
We have been sharing our ornaments and gifts this weekend, and one lady stopped by to purchase a special one for her son who is in the navy. She shared that John 3:16 is his favorite verse and asked if we had it engraved on anything. We didn't, but we plan to now. What is your favorite Bible verse?

  1. Your verse today is the essence of the Gospel! Besides this one, I like John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

    1. Nina, I love that verse, too. Years ago I learned it as a song, so that's how I read it now.

  2. My favorite is Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me but John 3:16 is the one I taught my children first. :)

    1. John 3:17 is great too - God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. Who am I kidding -they are all great!
