Poppins Book Nook In The Kitchen

Affiliate links are included in this post.

The theme for this month's Poppin's Book Nook is "To The Kitchen."

My son loves to cook and equally, to eat, so this was a theme he could sink his teeth into, literally.

He will wake up early in the morning so he can make canned biscuits for everyone, but he likes trying new recipes, too. Omelets are his specialty.

This month Joseph found an updated version of the classic Better Homes and Gardens New Junior Cook Book at the library. He has already tried one new recipe; he made snack crackers for all of us. He wants to try chicken fingers next.

Another thing we enjoy in the kitchen is science experiments. Be sure to check back for our January "To The Laboratory" post. There will not be a book club in December.
