A Cry From Egypt ~ book giveaway

Last fall we reviewed A Cry From Egypt with the Schoolhouse Review Crew. In conjunction with her book's official release, the author has just offered to share a signed copy of her newly updated book with one of my blog readers!

My daughter shared: "The book gave me a better understanding of the plagues. As I read, I kept wondering what would happen next which made it hard to put it down." She is still looking forward to the sequel.

Disclaimer: No compensation was provided for this post. The author will be responsible for sharing her book with the winner.

  2. I think an interesting thing with the book is that it is written from the perspective of an Israelite slave - I've never read (nor have my children) a book from that perspective.

  7. I try to choose living books, and although fictional, I think the research and history in this book from a slave's perspective would add a very interesting perspective to our studies!

  9. We'll be studying Ancient world history next year and I'm on the lookout for "living" books to add in...I think A Cry from Egypt will fit in nicely.
