My View:
This book has the flavor of an old fashioned mystery- a heroine with a hero she doesn't know if she can really trust and characters with unexpected affiliations. The Irish revolutionaries add an element of uncertainty and fear to the story along with an interesting historical perspective. The main character, though she sets out for a new country on her own, still has a lot of naivety and seems to trust anyone who appears friendly. Read it and see if her instincts are correct.
