My girls have been listening to my old Amy Grant CDs a lot lately. After I picked my topic for the 31 days postings, I thought of her song Simple Things. It kind of fits "I dream of simple things..." This morning I left the house for jury duty. I didn't wish I was shopping, at the movies, or out with friends, instead I just wanted to be home with my family. And we were dismissed, so I got to go back home to my kiddos. Home is one simple thing I've been dreaming of.

Isn't that so true - when I'm at work (very part-time out of the house) I just want to be home with my family but then there's those times when I'm with my kiddos and it's been a long hard day, I want to escape to the movies or out alone with my husband or to bed!
