How we wash stuffed animals

Place your child's stuffed lovie in pillowcase. Knot the pillowcase and then wash and dry with sheets. Warning- their eyes still may get scratches. I take it out of the dryer and pillowcase before the sheets are completely dry and let it finish air drying. See how clean Joseph's stuffed Bingo turned out! The story might have been different if there were automatic washing machines and dryers when The Velveteen Rabbit was written.

  1. My mom always washed my dolls and stuffed animals like this! For some reason I never remembered that until I saw this post. :)
